A Year in the Life of Sheppey Exhibition
The people of Sheppey have spent a year taking photographs every day on their Island. They are proud of it and they want to show everyone why, in pictures. Their photographs have been put together in a unique event, a community photography exhibition for you to visit so you can learn about the place they live in.
It’s about curiosity, discovering new things about people and places that may not be familiar but that have a richness about them.
This is one of the most important role of art: an opportunity to listen and look at what others have to say.
‘A Year in the life of Sheppey’ opens this Friday 21st September, until Sunday 23rd September
at Castle Connections, Queenborough. It is part of the Promenade Festival.
